#3: Dustin Kirkland “The Master Inventor”

Dustin Kirkland, chief product officer of Apex Clearing finds himself at the Dive Bar to sip on some frosty beverages and talk DevOps with Tim Fairweather, Kyle Bassett, and Dave Ambrad. Dustin, who was awarded the “Master Inventor” designation, talks about how software patents can be more destructive than productive, his ongoing belief in open-source, and the importance of OpenStack. He also shares a story about an interesting childhood penpal!
