AI in Neonatal Care

The neonatal period is the first 28 days of life, which is the stage of developing physiological adaptations for extra-uterine life. This time is a vulnerable period and the high neonatal mortality rate is due to the high level of vulnerability in this period. About two-thirds of infant deaths and about half of the under-five deaths occur in neonatal period. Predictions show that between 2019 and 2030, approximately 52 million children under the age of 5 will die, approximately half of whom will be neonate.
