The Misconceptions About Polyglot Programming with Mirek Sedzinski

Relicans host, Aaron Bassett talks to Solution Architect, Developer at Oracle, Mirek Sedzinski about his blog post The Misconceptions About Polyglot Programming, which can be found over on Dev.to.

Mirek’s conclusion is the following: “Of course one can learn how to operate any database in the world. But it requires significant effort and time. Each new database brings new tools, new concepts and tons of documentation...Whenever possible stay with one generic database to handle most of the traffic. Add new databases only to handle very specific workloads and only when really necessary.” What are YOUR thoughts, Polyglots?
